MISSION

It is the mission of the Foundation for the Advancement of Entrepreneurship to encourage entrepreneurship and financial literacy among the youth of Alberta, Canada.

CORE VALUES:

The Foundation for the Advancement of Entrepreneurship is motivated by the following beliefs and values:

1) That the world is facing many perplexing problems - including social, economic, health and environmental.

2) That, from Alberta, we can and should provide more & better problem solvers.

3) That as successful business owners, having benefited from those that came before us, it is our obligation to give to those that will take our place.

OUR OBJECTIVE

Our objective is to help create more problem solvers. We pursue this objective by encouraging and inspiring youth to participate in business, financial literacy and entrepreneurship education with scholarships and support through Junior Achievement, high school and post secondary school programs.

FOUNDATION GOVERNANCE

The Board of Directors, as well as committees, shall be comprised of men and women that have demonstrated success as entrepreneurs, with an appreciation for the contribution of financial literacy, and an interest in encouraging and assisting students.
